1) Scope: consumers and businesses (VAT-registered customers)
This page governs returns and refunds for purchases made on adivo.it.
Consumer customers (B2C): the right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery applies, as described in the following sections.
Businesses and professionals (B2B) with a VAT number: the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply automatically. Returns, replacements or cancellations of B2B orders are assessed case by case and, if accepted, are governed by specific agreements and/or the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
For any request, whether B2C or B2B, email info@adivo.it, quoting your order number and the reason for your request.
2) Right of withdrawal (consumer customers)
If you buy as a consumer, meaning an individual purchasing for purposes unrelated to their professional activity, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery of the products without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, send a request to info@adivo.it and provide:
- your order number
- the product(s) you wish to return
- your first name and surname
- a contact telephone number
- your IBAN, only if needed for the refund and if a refund to the original payment method is not possible
We will reply with practical instructions and confirm how to return the products, either by shipping them or handing them over by appointment.
3) How to return products (shipping or handover by appointment)
You can return products using one of the following methods:
A) Return by shipping
Returns may be sent to:
ADIVO S.r.l.
Via Croce Malloni, 93 — 84015 Nocera Superiore (SA), Italy
B) Return at a collection point (by appointment only)
Alternatively, you may hand over a return only by appointment arranged with ADIVO at one of these collection points:
- Cartoleria “Carta e dintorni” — Via Croce Malloni, 97, Nocera Superiore (SA)
- Università degli Studi di Salerno — Fisciano (SA)
- Operating premises — Via Mar Ionio, 27, 84098 Pontecagnano Faiano (SA)
The appointment must be arranged by email (info@adivo.it) and confirmed by ADIVO before handover.
4) Conditions for accepting a return (B2C)
To be accepted, returned products must:
- be intact, unused and undamaged
- be returned in their original packaging with any included accessories
- be packed adequately to prevent damage in transit
We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions, or to reduce the refund if the product has lost value because of unnecessary handling.
5) Return costs
Unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing, return costs, such as shipping charges, are borne by the customer.
If a return results from our error, such as sending the wrong product, or from a defect or lack of conformity, we will explain the correct return procedure.
6) Products excluded from the right of withdrawal (B2C)
The right of withdrawal may not apply, or may be limited, in certain circumstances provided for by law, for example:
- personalised or made-to-measure products
- sealed products that are unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons and have been opened, where applicable
If you are unsure about your specific case, contact us before starting a return: info@adivo.it.
7) Refunds: timing and methods (B2C)
Once the return has been received and checked, we will issue the refund within 14 days.
The refund will be made:
- to the same payment method used for the purchase, such as PayPal or a card via Stripe, where possible
- alternatively, by bank transfer if necessary and agreed
8) Defective, damaged or non-conforming products (B2C and B2B)
If you receive a defective, damaged or non-conforming product:
- contact info@adivo.it
- attach clear photographs of the product and packaging
- provide your order number and a description of the problem
We will promptly assess the most suitable solution, such as replacement, refund or assistance, in accordance with applicable law and the conditions of sale.
9) Order cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order before shipment, contact info@adivo.it as soon as possible. If the order has already been handed over to the carrier, the return rules apply for B2C customers, while B2B requests are assessed case by case.
